Basketball player South Africa • He was born on February 7, 1974 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a Canadian professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association. He is the present and two-time consecutive recipient of the NBA Most Valuable Player Award. He captained Canada men's national basketball team at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He was voted as a first time starter for the 2006 Western All-Star team.
