title character of a well known fairy tale known
from many places in Europe, the most known version
being the one collected by the Brothers Grimm.
It was adapted from this story, as was the famous
1937 Disney animated feature.
In the Disney version, the character wakes from
her enchanted sleep as soon as the Prince kisses
her, similar to Sleeping Beauty; furthermore,
the prince and her have met prior to her enchanted
sleep, so that he has fallen in love with the
awake rather than the sleeping princess.

30, 1964 in Città di Castello, Umbria. She is
an Italian actress and former fashion model.
By 1989, she was becoming prominent as a fashion
model in Paris and across the Atlantic, in New
York City.
She speaks Italian, French, and English fluently
and has acted in each of these languages, as
well as Aramaic.
Her film career began in the early 1990s. In
1992 she made her first appearance in a major
English-language film as one of Dracula's brides
in Bram Stoker's Dracula. She is married to
fellow actor Vincent Cassel, with whom she has
appeared in several films and had a daughter,
named Deva.

1996, he died of advanced prostate cancer eight
months later at the age of 79.
He enlisted in the French army during World
War II. He fought as an infantry sergeant, was
wounded and was taken prisoner of war in 1940.
After the war he quickly moved back into politics.
He was elected President of France in May 1981,
re-elected in 1988 and held office until 1995.
As of 2006, he holds the record of longest serving
(14 years) President of France. He is also the
oldest President of the Fifth Republic leaving
office at 79.
His wife, Danielle, is a left-wing activist.

South Africa. He is a Canadian professional
basketball player. He currently plays for the
Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association.
He is the present and two-time consecutive recipient
of the NBA Most Valuable Player Award.
He captained Canada men's national basketball
team at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
He was voted as a first time starter for the
2006 Western All-Star team. On May 17 it was
announced that him had been named to the All-NBA
first team.
