His poems are often about life in Paris and
life after the Second World War. They are widely
taught in schools in France and frequently appear
in French language textbooks throughout the
world. He wrote a number of classic screenplays
for the film director Marcel Carné.

It is the name of Charlie Brown's pet beagle
in the long-running comic strip Peanuts, by
Charles M. Schulz. Snoopy began his life in
the strip as a fairly ordinary dog, but eventually
evolved into perhaps the strip's most dynamic
character—and among the most recognizable comic
characters in the world. Animation producer
Bill Melendez voiced both Snoopy and (eventually)
Woodstock in numerous television specials from
1965 to 2003.

His photographs were in great demand by other
magazines such as Realites, Twen and Photo.
By the end of the sixties, his work had a recognizeable
style. His further success included many dozens
of photographic books with combined sales well
into the millions, five feature films, countless
magazine publishings and scores of museum and
gallery exhibitions. In December, 1977, Images
Gallery in New York City ran a show of his photographs,
at about the same time that Bilitis was released.
He also maintained an apartment in New York.

was born in c. 1398 – c. February 3, 1468. He
was a German goldsmith and inventor who achieved
fame for his invention of the technology of
printing with movable types during 1447. This
technology included a type metal alloy and oil-based
inks, a mould for casting type accurately, and
a new kind of printing press based on presses
used in wine-making in the Rhineland.
By combining these elements into a production
system, he allowed for the rapid printing of
written materials, and an information explosion
in Renaissance Europe. He has often been credited
as being the most influential and important
person of all times, with his invention occupying
similar status.
